Let's Snowshoe! Good for me. Good for YOU!

Oh, boy! Oh, boy!

I got to go snowshoe on the edge of Lake Superior!

I stayed with my group of hikers at all times.
Everybody was my friend.

I would run to the front of the group, check on them....

and then run to the back of the line and check on Foster Mom.

She was the slow one of the pack....

But that was o.k.

I kept an eye on her at the back of the line.

I act more like a hurding dog at times.

That makes me special.

My Name is LIBBY

Hello! My name is LIBBY and

I am a German Wirehair Pointer (Bird Dog!!)

I love being indoors and outdoors.

But mostly I love being ANYWHERE my humans are.

Once you settle, I settle for a nap.....

But I keep an eye on you so I may follow where you go.

I like to know what your doing at all times, but I am not 'in your way'.

I just watch quietly and see if there is

anything I can learn from you.

I am learning to be a great house dog.

My potty training only took a few days for me to understand.

I know to run to the back door when Foster Family says the word "Outside".

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME:

~ I am good with Humans.

~ I am good with larger dogs. But dominate to smaller dogs. Better to have me in a home without small dogs.

~ I can go the night without having to go potty.

~ I MUST be in a create when you are not home. I miss you too much and shouldn't be loose in the house when I am upset.

~ You can NOT put me in a fenced kennel. I will escape to get to you. I will hurt myself to get to you. A create is my best housing for when you are not able to be with me.
~ I do not need a leash when we are outdoors together. I stay with you through thick and thin.

~ I can be left outside alone...but will pound the door to get back in with you. I really need to be with my humans.

~ You can take a bone from my mouth if you need to.

~ I DON'T know how I am with smaller children. I have only been with teens and adults in foster care.
